Alejandro Ramírez will be coached by Steve Sampson, who is the former coach of Costa Rica's senior national team

Student athlete Alejandro Ramírez received a sports scholarship to pursue his sports career at the Polytechnic University of California, located in the city of San Luis Obispo, three hours from Los Angeles.

Alejandro will take advantage of this sports scholarship to study civil engineering in one of the best academic programs in the United States.

Cal Poly competes in Division 1 of the NCAA and the program is led by renowned coach Steve Sampson, who trained the national team of Costa Rica from 2002 to 2004.

Ale will start his adventure in the United States from January 2020. Congratulations!
